These Provider Terms apply to any individual or entity that creates, claims, manages, or is the subject of a listing on Guardians Lighthouse ("Provider," "you"). They supplement — and are in addition to — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, these Provider Terms control with respect to Provider activity.
1. Eligibility and Valid Licensing
You represent and warrant that you hold and will continuously maintain all licenses, registrations, certifications, accreditations, and insurance required by federal, state, and local law and by any applicable professional or regulatory body to provide the services described in your listing. You will promptly update or remove your listing if any license is suspended, revoked, restricted, lapsed, or otherwise affected.
2. Accuracy of Listing Information
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information in your listing — including name, credentials, specialty, services, locations, hours, contact information, and insurance acceptance — is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. You will not make any false, deceptive, or unsubstantiated claims about qualifications, outcomes, success rates, or affiliations.
3. Sole Responsibility for Care and Outcomes
You are solely and exclusively responsible for all professional services you provide, all advice you give, all clinical decisions you make, all interactions with patients or clients, and all outcomes — whether or not the patient or client found you through the Platform. Guardians Lighthouse is not a party to any professional relationship between you and a patient or client.
4. Platform Not Liable for Provider Actions
Guardians Lighthouse is a directory and advertising platform only. We do not supervise, direct, control, or participate in your practice. We are not liable for any act, omission, negligence, malpractice, error, injury, damage, or other harm caused by, related to, or resulting from your services, your staff, your facilities, or any Provider listed on the Platform.
5. Compliance With Law
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy laws, anti-kickback and self-referral rules, advertising and consumer-protection laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and any rules of your licensing or professional body. You will not request, collect, transmit, or store protected health information through the Platform.
6. Reviews and Responses
Users may post reviews about you. Reviews reflect users' personal opinions; we do not adjudicate factual disputes. You may respond professionally through any response feature provided. You agree not to retaliate against any user for posting a review, and not to violate any applicable law (including the Consumer Review Fairness Act) in connection with reviews. You will not offer incentives in exchange for reviews or post false reviews about yourself or competitors.
7. Content License
You grant Guardians Lighthouse a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to host, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting), and distribute the listing content and any logos, photos, or materials you submit, for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
8. Fees, Tiers, and Cancellation
Paid tiers (Premium and Featured) are billed as recurring subscriptions through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time from your provider dashboard; paid features remain available through the end of the paid billing period, after which the listing reverts to Basic or is removed at our discretion.
9. Removal and Suspension
We may modify, suspend, or remove any listing at any time and for any reason, including license issues, inaccurate or misleading information, user complaints, regulatory concerns, or violation of these terms. We may refuse to list any Provider in our sole discretion.
10. Indemnification by Provider
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Guardians Lighthouse and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your services or any professional act or omission; (b) any allegation of malpractice, negligence, or breach of professional duty; (c) any inaccuracy or misleading statement in your listing; (d) your violation of any law; or (e) your violation of these Provider Terms.
11. Insurance
You agree to maintain professional liability (malpractice) insurance and any other insurance required by your profession or jurisdiction at customary and adequate levels.
12. Arbitration and Governing Law
The arbitration, class-waiver, governing-law, and venue provisions in our Terms of Service apply to all disputes between you and Guardians Lighthouse arising out of or related to your listing or use of the Platform.
